About

Katha Kriya

Katha Kriya, the name itself is deeply rooted in the spiritual journey of its creator, Krishna Katha Dasi (Niyati Karir), a name bestowed upon her by her revered Guru. Moreover, the word ‘Katha’ symbolizes the stories and teaching that we gain from the universe and render back to it, which ultimately shapes our inner world, while ‘Kriya’ which means the art of purposeful action represents the transformative power of yoga and spiritual practice.
Katha Kriya - 1st Edition

Vrindavan

The first edition of Katha Kriya: Yog Beyond the Mat unfolded in the sacred land of Vrindavan, where divinity and devotion merge effortlessly with nature. Curated and led by Niyati Karir (Krishna Katha Dasi), this retreat offered a soulful blend of yoga, kriya, bhakti, meditation, and spiritual discourse in the presence of revered spiritual masters including Shri Pundrik Goswami Ji Maharaj and Smt. Renuka Pundrik Goswami. Participants experienced daily asana practices, mantra chanting, satsangs, nature walks, and satvic nourishment - an immersive journey of inner revival and conscious living. Vrindavan, with its timeless vibrations, served as the perfect setting for Katha Kriya’s vision: to awaken the self, not just through the mat - but beyond it.
